Ashenda Festival is a festival celebrated by the Gurage people of Ethiopia. It is a time for celebration, dancing, and feasting. The festival is marked by a large procession of people, who wear traditional Gurage dress and carry colorful umbrellas. There is also a lot of singing and dancing.

Timkat (Epiphany) is a Christian festival that celebrates the baptism of Jesus Christ. It is celebrated on January 19th or 20th, depending on the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church calendar. The festival is marked by a large procession of people, who carry a replica of the Ark of the Covenant through the streets. There is also a lot of singing, dancing, and feasting.

Irrecha (Feast of the Cross) is a traditional Ethiopian festival that celebrates the coming of the rainy season. It is celebrated on September 11th or 12th, depending on the Ethiopian calendar. The festival is marked by a large procession of people, who carry a replica of the Ark of the Covenant through the streets. There is also a lot of singing, dancing, and feasting.

Meskel (Finding of the True Cross) is another Christian festival that is celebrated on September 27th. It commemorates the finding of the True Cross by Saint Helena, the mother of Emperor Constantine. The festival is marked by a large bonfire, around which people gather to sing, dance, and pray.
